NEW #1AC-698Sev-2[Tablet][Enterprise] Server DB does not use two-pane (master-detail) layout unlike Local DB
Tested device: Tablet: T33-F11, Android 14
Description:
Summary / Overview
On tablet devices, there is an inconsistent UI layout between Local/Cloud databases and Enterprise Server databases.

While Local DB correctly displays a two-pane split layout (Master-Detail: Entry list on the left and Entry details on the right), Server DB fails to adopt this behavior. Opening an entry in a Server DB instead takes up the entire screen (or single column), breaking UX consistency across database types on tablets.
NEW #2AC-699Sev-2[Tablet/UI] Relocate Database Settings to DB List Header and support split-pane view in landscape
Tested device: Tablet: T33-F11, Android 14
Description:
1. Background & Problem Statement
On tablet/foldable layouts (as shown in the navigation rail), the left sidebar displays top-level navigation destinations: Entries (Local/Cloud DB), Enterprise (Server DB), and a global Settings tab.

Context Ambiguity: When a user works with both a local/cloud database (under Entries) and an enterprise database (under Enterprise), placing a single "Settings" icon at the bottom of the global navigation rail creates confusion:

Users cannot easily distinguish whether "Settings" refers to global app settings or database-specific settings (e.g., DB properties, synchronization, encryption, authentication policies).

It disconnects database configuration from the actual database context currently open.
NEW #3AC-700Sev-2[Tablet/UI] Support expandable folder tree in sidebar and multi-pane navigation (Tree -> List -> Details) with collapsible mode
Tested device: Tablet: T33-F11, Android 14
Description:
1. Background & Objective
On Android tablets, the left sidebar currently allows users to access both Local/Cloud and Enterprise Server databases. However, navigating into folders and entries currently lacks the desktop-class folder-tree hierarchy found in the Windows Client.

To provide a desktop-grade experience on large screens and improve navigation efficiency across deep folder structures, we propose introducing an expandable folder tree within the sidebar, paired with a multi-pane layout (Folder Tree → Entry List → Entry Details) and an adaptive collapsible sidebar for portrait mode.
NEW #4AC-704Sev-2[Autofill][Android 14 Tablet] "Setup Autofill" banner remains visible after enabling autofill service and credential provider
Tested device: Phone: Galaxy S22, Android 15, Tablet: T33-F11, Android 14
Description:
Summary & Environment
On Android 14 (API 34), after the user follows the onboarding prompt to configure and successfully enable Password Depot as both the Autofill Service and Credential Provider in system settings, returning to the app does not dismiss the "Setup Autofill" banner. The banner continues to display indefinitely until a fill request is triggered or the app data is re-initialized.

On Android 15+ (API 35), the same setup flow immediately detects the active state upon returning to the app (onResume), and the banner disappears automatically as expected.

Test Devices & OS:

Device 1: Tablet: T33-F11 – Android 14 (API 34)

Device 2 (Comparison): Samsung Galaxy S22 – Android 15 (API 35)

App Build: Password Depot Android 20.0.0-RC4 (Build 2003)
NEW #5AC-700Sev-2[Security/Settings] Enable lowercase, uppercase, and numbers by default in Master Password Policy
Tested device: Phone: Galaxy S22, Android 15, Tablet: T33-F11, Android 14
Description:
Summary

Enable stronger default master password settings in the Master Password Policy dialog.

5 · Closed Bugs (1)

CLOSED #1AC-609Sev-2WebDAV/HiDrive DB: URL contains "#$" causes UI validation error; error message incorrect even when URL ends with .pswe
Fixed in build: 20.0.0 RC4
Verified on device: Phone: Galaxy S22, Android 15
Resolution note:
Problem
When opening a WebDAV (Strato HiDrive) database, if the URL contains the characters #$, the UI immediately shows an error/validation state. The error message is misleading/incorrect: it complains that the address must end with a file name (e.g. database.pswe) even though the provided URL already ends with .pswe.
